Low Cost Idea for Putting Wheeled Shipping Containers on Raised RSJ H Beam Rails for portability and to Reduce Groundwork Costs

Low Cost Idea for Putting Wheeled Shipping Containers on Raised RSJ H Beam Rails for portability and to Reduce Groundwork Costs

To move a container onto a field or wood without building a road

A raised track of RSJ H beams is welded together atop of large metal pipe supports piers.filled with concrete with Hd concrete foundations / piles

The empty or lightly insulated 10, 15 0r 20ft (40 ft may be too heavy) ISO containers with HD castor wheels attached on each corner with a castor lock system, or similar, which can be wheeled onto the rail across the field.

To further reduce cost  rsj beams & pipes are often available from scrapyards

c shaped purlins can then attached across the top of the rails, and a wood beam road for walking / cycling/ scooters to access the container can be mounted.

This will not be strong enough for cars, thogh welding further rsj beam supports across may be strong enough
